About Us
Although we have tons to offer our customers, we pride ourselves in providing superior customer service 24/7 to ensure that each of our tenants has the best self-storage experience possible. In addition, we’ve invested time and finances into creating a facility that is safe and secure. There are several security cameras surrounding and monitoring the facility 24/7 and with our fence and computerized gate, there are limited opportunities for intruders to get inside of the facility. If you have items that may be susceptible to damage due to prolonged exposure to changes in hot and cold temperatures, our climate controlled units are ideal. They’re clean and will ensure that each item you store stays in great condition year-round.
Our Location
Are you finally ready to get your belongings organized and stored away safely? If so, Elite Storage on Douglas Drive is an amazing self storage option. If you live in town or in surrounding areas such as West Lake Valley, Hampton Ponds, Mallard Cove, Goldston, or Wildwood, take the drive to our facility. We’re easily accessible via US-1 and Highway 421 and can be found near Spring Lane Cinemas, Riverbirch Shopping Center and Wilkinson Cadillac Chevrolet Buick GMC. If you’re close by, start storing with us. We’re your best bet for affordable and quality self storage.

After more than 45 years of having moved and lived around the world and stored household goods in more locations than I can possibly count, I can say without hesitation or reservation that there simply aren’t enough superlatives to describe how WONDERFUL and wonderfully amazing Elite Storage is. I truly don’t thing you’ll find a better place (or more reasonable prices) to store and take superb care of the place where you store your belongings.
I write this after having rented 3 different units and 2 moves with Elite for just over a year now. Apart from the incredibly professional, ever patient, thoughtful, amazing Manger there, Tiffany Butler (who couldn’t possibly be more knowledgeable about her job and business), the staff and two movers (Trevon and Tristan) who work there, have ALL been terrific people and professionals. They are also SUPER accommodating and flexible with any sort of need I’ve had, e.g., changing dates and requests for various sizes of units (which, of course impacted my autopay and Tiffany was of course, on top of any of those changes and made system adjustments immediately). This alone, has been nothing short of a gift from heaven. Last year, for example, I was overseas, and Tiffany contacted me to let me know a unit of the size I needed would be opening up the following month, and she worked her magic without me having to fret at all, even being 3,000 miles away from Sanford at the time. As another reviewer wrote, “…The staff were professional and always on top of everything.” So, so, so, true.
As for the facilities themselves, I can honestly say I feel more secure about leaving my belongings there than I ever have ANYWHERE else in the world. Apart from the great physical security of the buildings and units, I have never seen a facility this clean and well maintained – and consistently so.
The one – and I do mean only one – request I have for Elite is for better lighting in some of the units. For example, the first unit I rented had plenty of light, but the 3rd one is dark enough that even during broad daylight, I need a flashlight to be able to see things in the back of the unit. Other than one suggestion, I simply cannot recommend Elite highly enough to anyone in need of a storage unit. Based on decades of experience with storage (and moving) businesses, I just don’t think it gets any better than Elite!!!

Great customer service and a clean facility. Tiffany has been excellent since the day I moved in with any questions and facility needs. I highly recommend storing at Elite Storage and pop in and see Tiffany!
